Hey there, my name is Stefan and I live in the stunning alpine region of Wanaka in Central Otago, New Zealand.

For as long as I can remember, photography has been a part of my life. Growing up, my photographer father would bundle me up in a warm jacket and hat, and we’d head to the beach where he’d shoot the waves breaking and surfers waiting for the next set to roll in.

Later, I’d watch as he developed these images in the dark room at home. I didn't realise it at the time, but seeing this complete process instilled in me a great appreciation for capturing the beauty, energy and emotion of a fleeting moment.

My own experience in photography and videography spans over 20 years and three continents. I’ve travelled far and wide to shoot snowboarders in Colorado, the back country of Hokkaido in Japan to the villages of Vietnam, surf in Australia and the pure, natural beauty right here where I call home… Aotearoa.

It is here, with the majestic backdrop of mountains and quaint streetscapes that I have discovered my passion for wedding photography and videography. Whether you’re celebrating your big day in summer, winter or somewhere in between, the weather will simply add a level of energy and vibrancy that is unparalleled to almost anywhere else. I have a keen eye for detail, composition and a sense for capturing a moment at just the right time.
